CHILDREN'S BOOK SPECIALISTS
From the newest, hottest novels, to classics, to specific nonfiction titles, we are dedicated to helping you find the best books for you and your students. If you’d like to come in and shop, please call us at 651-224-8320 or email us at info@redballoonbookshop.com to set up a personal shopping appointment so we can offer the best customer service. You can also send us an email with your request and we’re happy to give you a quote and/or create a list of books for you. Depending on the amount of time it will take us to research your topic, a consultation fee applied and it may take us up to a week to create a your booklist.

EDUCATOR DISCOUNT
Currently employed, Minnesota-licensed preK-12 teachers and librarians receive a 20% discount on most purchases. Educators and librarians must be verified to use this discount online or in-person. To sign-up or re-verify email us at info@redballoonbookshop.com. Include a picture of your current school ID or your name/bio on your school's website. We'll reply with the coupon code to use for the 2022-2023 school year. You can also show us your school ID if you set up a reservation to come in and shop.
SCHOOL DISCOUNT
Schools receive a 20% discount on most purchases and orders. Some exceptions apply.
WISH LISTS
You tell us what you want for your classroom or library; we keep the list. Just tell your school and community we have your wish list, and we'll help them find what you need. Learn more about wishlists HERE.
AUTHORS IN SCHOOLS PROGRAM
Visits from professional authors and illustrators can be fantastic experiences for your students. Red Balloon works hard to bring great authors to town and to make the entire process easy for your school. When an author has a new book to promote, their publisher often asks us to arrange school visits as part of the book tour. In these cases, the author’s speaking fee is waived, and Red Balloon collects books orders in advance of the presentation. The minimum order is 30 copies of the author’s new hardcover book, or a combination of that author’s books equivalent to the same total $ amount. Read more about our Authors in Schools Program HERE.
