Author Caren Stelson and violinist Judith Eisner will take you on a musical journey to learn about Nicholas Winton, the Kindertransport, and the 669 children he saved from the Holocaust. Come discover this bright light during a perilous time.
To attend: Space is limited, so a ticket is required to attend. You can register for a ticket through March 29, 4:30pm, and order a book below. Additional books will be available for purchase during the event.
Signing Guidelines: Following the reading, Caren Stelson will sign and personalize copies of the book. If you would prefer not to stay for the signing portion, Red Balloon is happy to have your books signed and personalized for you and will contact you when they're ready to be picked up.
Caren Stelson is award-winning Minneapolis author of children and young adult books. Her book Sachiko: A Nagasaki Bomb Survivor’s Story was long-listed for a National Book Award.
Judith Eisner is a professional violinist, composer of Klezmer music, teacher at MacPhail Center for Music, leader of Eisner’s Klezmorim, and avid student of Yiddish language and culture.
