We were snowed out in November, but the Game is on--and this time it’s for real! James Dashner, author of the #1 New York Times-bestselling Maze Runner series, returns to Red Balloon for The Game of Lives, the final book in the Mortality Doctrine. TICKET INFO: This event is free and open to the public, but a ticket is required to enter the signing line. All ticket numbers issued for the original event in November will be honored. Tickets may be obtained by purchasing any book from Dashner’s Mortality Doctrine series (The Eye of Minds, The Rule of Thoughts, or The Games of Lives) from Red Balloon Bookshop. Thanks to their support, Crosswinds Arts and Science School students will receive a 20% discount. Other discounts do not apply. One ticket per person; those younger than 12 may be accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be purchased in-store or over the phone by calling 651-224-8320. See store hours. Tickets and books will also be available for purchase at the event, though advance purchase is recommended.
SIGNING GUIDELINES: At the time of your book purchase, you will be assigned a ticket number. This indicates your place in the signing line. Directly following the presentation and Q&A, signing groups will be called up to wait in line. James Dashner will sign and personalize an unlimited number of copies of The Game of Lives purchased for the event. In addition, James will sign and personalize *up to 3 other books that were either purchased at the event or brought from home. Your support of Red Balloon Bookshop is appreciated.
*In the event that the signing line exceeds 200 people, James Dashner will only sign, not personalize, these additional books.
PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDELINES: Photos are allowed and encouraged; however, due to time restrictions, posed photos with the author are not permitted.
CAN'T MAKE IT? If you'd like a personalized book but are unable to make the event, please call us at 651-224-8320 to pre-pay and we'll have one or more copies signed and reserved for you or shipped anywhere in the United States.
