It's raining books with Laura Purdie Salas! Come by Red Balloon Bookshop for a Storytime to celebrate her splashy new titles: Zap! Clap! Boom!; Finding Family: The Duckling Raised by Loons; and Puddle Song!
Connected by water themes well-suited for the land of ten thousand lakes, these board and picture books feature the science of thunderstorms, a true Northwoods story of interspecies adoption, and lots of rhyming puddle fun. Join author Laura Purdie Salas as she reads aloud from the books and raffles off free copies of Puddle Song to two lucky attendees! After the event, have your copies signed and enjoy tasty treats!
To attend: Registration is not required for this event, but helps us get an estimated headcount when considering spatial constraints. You can register for a ticket through April 1, 8:30am, and pre-order books below. The first three orders of both Zap! Clap! Boom! and Finding Family (for a total of two books, one of each title) will receive one free copy of Puddle Song! Additional books will be available for purchase during the event.
Signing Guidelines: Following the reading, Laura Purdie Salas will sign and personalize copies of the book. If you would prefer not to stay for the signing portion, Red Balloon is happy to have your books signed and personalized for you and will contact you when they're ready to be picked up.
