Calling all sirens, warriors, monsters, and monster hunters: Tricia Levenseller and Alexandra Christo are bringing the Monsters and Sirens Tour to Red Balloon Bookshop in St. Paul! Hang out with the authors of Warrior of the Wild and To Kill a Kingdom while they chat about oppressive deities, people-eating sirens, adventure, romance, storytelling and more. Afterward, get your books signed, DIY your own souvenir button, and enjoy some tasty refreshments with other YA fantasy fans.
Tricia Levenseller, author of Daughter of the Pirate King and its sequel Daughter of the Siren Queen, is from a small town in Oregon, but she now lives next to the Rocky Mountains in Utah with her bossy dog, Rosy. She received her degree in English language and editing, and she is thrilled that she never has to read a textbook again. When she’s not writing or reading, Tricia enjoys putting together jigsaw puzzles, playing volleyball, and watching her favorite TV shows while eating extra-buttered popcorn. tricialevenseller.com
Alexandra Christo decided to write books when she was four and her teacher told her she couldn't be a fairy. She has a BA in Creative Writing and works as a copywriter in London, both of which make her sound more grown up than she feels. When she's not busy making up stories, she can be found buying far too many cushions and organizing food crawls all over the city. Alexandra currently lives in Hertfordshire with an abundance of cacti (because they're the only plants she can keep alive).
