20th Twin Cities Book Festival goes virtual!
It’s no secret that all of us in the book universe are affected by the coronavirus on some level. Booksellers, authors, publishers, and literary orgs are striving to survive, revive, and possibly thrive at serving their audiences with authenticity in this ever evolving and adaptable literary landscape.
Because the annual Twin Cities Book Festival is presented in October, the folks at Rain Taxi have been holding out for the possibility of a scaled back, real-world experience. However, it’s now apparent we’ll be navigating the Covid-19 terrain indefinitely, so they are leaping into the virtual with an exciting web-based exhibit hall, a variety of online author events, and unique web content commemorating this special 20th year of the TCBF.
There are tons of amazing events happening in the three days of TCBF! Red Balloon Bookshop is proud to be the official bookseller for the children's and young adult events. Learn more about those events—and shop books by featured authors—below. To see the full schedule, go here.
