The Read in Color book drive will run April 24th – May 14th.
As a steward of Little Free Library’s Read in Color box, CAPI works to provide books from diverse voices and unique perspectives to readers of all ages. They're looking for books for all ages from BIPOC and LGBTQ authors, and books that are focused on racism and social justice themes.
To purchase books for the drive at 20% off, use coupon code READINCOLOR at checkout and select pick-up at store (Red Balloon will deliver all donated books to the folks at CAPI).
For books suggestions, take a look at the lists on our BOOK RECOMMENDATIONS page.
Read in Color is a new initiative bringing diverse books to Little Free Library book-sharing boxes around the world. Kicking off in the Twin Cities, Read in Color distributes books that provide perspectives on racism and social justice; celebrate BIPOC, LGBTQ, and other marginalized voices; and incorporate experiences from all identities for all readers.
